Off by six years…

This is from Douglas Brinkley’s biography of Teddy Roosevelt as a naturalist, The Wilderness Warrior: Theodore Roosevelt and the Crusade for America (p. 62). Brinkley’s got Darwin and Lincoln both being born on February 22, 1803 (instead of February 12, 1809). This book was published in 2009, the Darwin bicentennial. Oops!

I just checked this out from the library, not knowing how much Darwin there is in it…
