Eugenie Scott, the executive director of the NCSE, has just been awarded the National Academy of Science’s Public Welfare Medal “for championing the teaching of evolution in the United States and for providing leadership to the National Center for Science Education.” You can read her acceptance speech here. Congrats to Eugenie & keep up the hard work NCSE!
