2009 is the 200th anniversary of the birth of Shrewsbury’s most famous son Charles Darwin and founder of the theory of evolution. It is also the 150th anniversary of the publication of his most famous work ‘On the Origin of Species’.
To celebrate, this global email is inviting as many people as possible to pass on their own birthday wishes and special messages to Charles Darwin, you can even upload an image if you want to.
Each individual entry will get a unique ID and location pin on a google map of the World, so if you would like to join in this global event simply click on the link below:
