Recently Bill O’Reilly stated that the fact that the tides go in and out proves to him the existence of God. He apparently has never come across any scientific explanation for this unexplainable phenomenon. A viewer asked him to elaborate, and this is what he got:
Now, I know Bill is “performing” for his demographic, but if there is any reality to his ignorance, this is simply sad. People need to read more, go to museums, get outside, and pay attention in school.
