  1. In the UK, we call these dandelion clocks (because you are supposed to be able to tell what time it is by counting how many blows it takes you to dislodge all of the seeds).

  2. The Brits may be weird, but they get respect from me. On 9/12/2001 they played our national anthem at Buckingham Palace. The overwhelming British message to U.S. nationals on their soil was “We will protect you, you are among friends here.” The Brits are all right.
