The recent exhibit on Darwin began at the American Museum of Natural History, then had a running at the Franklin Institute, the Boston Museum of Science, and the Field Museum in Chicago. Next it will appear at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto (March 8, 2008-August 4, 2008), and finally to the Natural History Museum in London in late 2008 to be part of the 2009 events celebrating the 200th anniversary of Darwin’s birth (February 12, 2009). I learned that after London, it will head to the San Diego Natural History Museum (so I will get to see it!). There is a second version of the exhibit traveling internationally as well, one place being the Auckland War Memorial Museum. Let me know if you’re interested in a review of the exhibit by historian of science Richard Bellon from the journal Museums & Social Issues: A Journal of Reflective Discourse.
